THE UNTOLD STORIES                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        Today, we had screening of the documentary "the untold stories" by CNN in my college INDIAN INSTITUTE OF MASS COMMUNICATION.The documentary was based on Nirbhaya CASE that happened in Delhi on 16/12/2012 and which shook the nation. After 1 year it reminded me again the abrutality of the crime which was beyond the imagination of not only of the common man but also of the police officials. The brutality of the crime is the thing which brought the nation together during those few days after that incidence. After following the case for almost 1 year i saw the documentary of the very same case. I could not control my tears from rolling down, although 1 year has passed and even i don't know anything about her. But still i feel connected to her may be because i'm a girl i can feel empathy with her.

In the documentary i saw her parents life their pain, their emotion, the tragic death of their beloved daughter changed their world. It seems that their life is like a burden for them, Nirbhaya was an inspiration for her two younger brothers in short they lost their everything. But there are other aspects also of this case on which we needs to focus. The family of the culprits is also going through under lots and lots of trauma,i know there is nobody to blame except the culprits. They(family) has not done anything wrong for which they are getting punished. The crux of the matter is whom should we blame for this incidence - culprits, families of culprits(because the family gave those so called etiquettes to them) , or our system(because of which they have they have not got the proper education).
